REAL Nudibranchs photos!
Okay, you're right....these ARE NOT beads! But they are my favorite critters to find on my dives and photograph. I captured these images on my lastest trip to Santa Barbara Island. They are called nudibranchs which, in translation means "nude snail" or "slug". These slugs do not have a visible shell, although some have them on the inside of their bodies. But with out getting to scientific, here are a few of the more commonly seen nudis and a flat worm with a brief description. Click on the pic for more info.
