I use all different color combos, but did you notice that the spots on the outside of the big fish are the same color and the little guy inside? Since there are many species that are the color...of what they eat!

You know how they say beauty comes from within....well that certainly is the case for this handsome glass fish named Sebastian! A blend of green, teal and aqua are used to encase an intricate twistie and dotted design just under the surface. Sebastian has lots of personality will definitely be a conversation piece in whatever you decide to create with him.

Sebastian measures about 52 mm from lips to tail and has a hole length of 25 mm. The hole, which runs vertically, was created on a 3/32nd mandrel.

Boo-Berry is just the cutest! A bright lavendar is encased over a light glass, then sprinkled white enamel and embellished with aqua dots to match her lips and fins. Very personable little girl!

Isabella, a treasure from the sea! Well, okay, really from my imagination, but I am quite happy with the way she turned out. These are some of my favorite color combos to put together, So many possibilities for her! Hand pulled murrinis and a dusting of two enamels give her her unique personality. Would be cute with big chunky beads in matching colors!

Joey is my little "outback" fish! The frit used to give him his distinct markings reminds me of the colors of Australia, with soft browns and peach with a touch of blue for that gorgeous sky! His amber fins sparkle like the trillions of stars you see at night. He would look really nice with chunky beads of mixed colors. If you like him, you better scoop him up quick, or else I'm going to string him up myself!

Leo is made from one of my (many) favorite colors combos. A cool steel blue is the base then spotted with layered dots of gray and lavendar. The fins are the sparkling in the same colors. Leo is very handsome boy fish! Maybe a chunky silver chain and lavendar crystals?

Rooty was named after the yummy root beer colored glass he was created from. Much brighter in person, Rooty is decorated with layered dots in deep purple and teal. He has dark purple lips and all three colors are used in his fins. Perfect with smokey topaz and tanzanite accent beads!

Plumcake has so much more going on than you can see in photos! She has an intricate design running through her in shades of plum and blueberry, almost has a watercolor effect. She is a big girl and would make a very nice focal for a larger project!
I had fun creating Bubbles! I added different colors on the base, along with some layered dots, allowed gravity to merge the colors together, then added big clear dots that magnify the stripes. Sparkling green and teal make up the fins and tail.

Vinnie is a descendant of the ancient Venetian style beads. Not quite as sparkly from the inside as the foil glass beads of Italy, but still very personable and he's a good boy...I mean fish. His other side has a bit more foil showing through.
