I made this bead just after taking a class with Michael Barley (the frog's name is Miguel!) so if you are familiar with his beads, you'll see the MB influence in this bead! Layers of green create a "green river" along the organic shoreline. Nice a BIG, perfect focal bead!

Blarney O'Froggie Click on pic for more info. Date: 02/23/2011 Blarney is full of greenery, reminiscent of the rolling hills of in Ireland! What a beautiful country that is! Anyway, he is set a top a bright green bicone of silvered ivory and pinwheel murrinis. He is quite the happy frog!

Tropical Tree Frog! Click pic for more info. Date: 03/17/2010 The tree frogs commonly seen in the rainforest are bright and colorful. They tend to sit quietly on a tree branch, waiting for a snack to fly or crawl by. This little fellow is doing just that....hanging out....waiting. The natural grain look on the base is made from a combination of ivory glass with fine silver leaf.

The tree frog measures approximately 34 mm tall. The hole, which runs vertically, was created on a 3/32nd mandrel.

Colin has a heart gold (actually, it's glass) and has a lot of confidence. He believes he should be with a beautiful female and one day....I believe he will be! Colin shares his name and outlook on life, with a character in a romantic comedy film...who also, was a positive thinker...and it got him right where he wanted to be! Ribbit the bunny frog! NEW~ Click on pic for more info. Date: 03/04/2010 This adorable little frog has dressed with his bunny ears! He thought is would be appropriate for Easter...along with the purple and yellow garden he sits a top. Bunny ears are strong, but please keep in mind, they are still made from glass and are vulnerable. Care should be taken when storing.

Krypto Click on pic for more info. Date: 09/21/2008 Krypto is made from a brand new glass called "kryptonite" which I just LOVE! It reminds me of depression glass, both the color and the look is almost translucent. Krypto has soft, smokey spots on his back to match the layered dots on the base bead, giving him a retro feel. He is very cute and is looking for a new home where he won't be kept in a box. He likes sunlight!
Krypto is just about an inch tall, the hole runs vertically.

Jessica in the Garden Jessica ~ Click on pic for more info. Date: 08/20/2007 Jessica is happily sitting atop a beautiful garden of big lavender flowers with small teal bubble buds. She is a petite green frog with tiny teal accents. I was quite happy with this floral bead, which is why I kept Jessica on the petite side.
