Are you a lampworker in Southern CA and interested in
meeting other glass obsessed people? Want a chance to watch
amazing artist demo their talents at the torch? Meet new
friends and and have a lite lunch? Talk about glass for
hours and maybe even pick up some supplies while you're
there?? Well join us at our next So Cal Flame Surfers meeting! We meet
quarterly and have a group of glass artists from as
far north as Santa Barbara and south from San Diego.
Our next meeting of 2010 will be held at The Mandrel in Redondo Beach on June
19th, beginning at 10 am. Our bead exchange theme is
your choice of florals of marbles. We will be having a
salad bar pot luck, so please bring an appropriate
item to share. Our demo artist will be DeAnne Buchanon
who will be showing how to make a complex murrini.
