Q: How do I order Jujee Beads?
A: There are a few options. One, EMAIL ME if you see something on the website that you like. You can click on the photo and see if it’s available. Two, check out my show schedule. It is up to date...maybe you can stop by one of my shows. The selection is much greater at the shows! Three....check out what is available on Etsy!

Q: Why don’t you have paypal “buy now” options on your website?
A: I do a lot of shows and I can’t possibly make enough beads to have two separate inventories, one for the shows and one for internet sales. However, the items I have available on Etsy do not go to the shows, so if you make a purchase on Etsy, the item will be available and sent asap.

Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: I love making beads for anyone that wants them! But sometimes I get pretty busy, preparing for shows mostly. Feel free to inquire, but it will depend on my schedule. Have a look at my show schedule. If it’s close to a show, chances are your order will be filled after that show is over.

Q: Can you make another set like the one I like but is no longer available?
A: It depends. If the glass color is easily available, most likely yes. If it is an “odd lot” color, then the exact color may not be available. Glass colors are like yarn, they can differ from batch to batch.

Q: But I really like that one fish you made that's still on your website! It's sold, so can you make that again?
A: I appreciate folks still enjoying my older work. But my critters change and evolve every time I am on the torch. So unless it is a “realistic” fish, most likely, I can not duplicate the fish. Even if I try, no two fish will be exactly the same!

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: My preferred method is paypal if you are ordering online. Simply EMAIL ME your request and once we confirm the order, I will send you a paypal invoice. You can follow the prompts from there. OR if you prefer, you can email me or call with Visa/MC info or send me a check.

Q; Why do you not have a photo of everything you make on your website?
A: I make a LOT of beads, which is a time consuming craft in itself. It is even more time consuming to set up a photo session, take the photos, sort through and size them, upload them, write a brief description and measure every bead. By the time I finish, I am taking them to a show and selling them....so it seems like making more beads is a better use of time.

Q: What are your shipping charges?
A: I don’t make money on shipping so I don’t have a specific rate, other than basic postal rates. If your order is getting to be over 1/2 lb, I will usually just quote priority and send safely in a box. Otherwise it usually starts at $2.50, but every order is different. I will quote you a S&H price when I send info on your order. All orders ship in bubble lined envelopes or small, heavy duty box....or priority packaging, if applicable. All orders ship with delivery confirmation.

Q: Do you ship outside of the US? A: Yes, I am happy to ship almost anywhere in the world. However, you will be responsible for custom taxes. Please EMAIL ME for shipping rates. All orders shipping over seas will be packed in a heavy duty box with plenty of bubble wrap.

Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: To a degree....I absolutely guarantee the quality is the best and I want you to be happy with your new purchase. If for some reason, your are not completely satisfied with your bead(s), let me know with in 5 days of receiving the order. IF a bead has a broken part, contact me IMMEDIATELY and I will mend, or replace right away. I do NOT guarantee a bead will never break....it is glass and glass can break. I recommend taking care of your beads/jewelry by keeping them in plastic baggies with bubble wrap if needed, and separate from heavy jewelry pieces.

Q: What if I drop my fish and it looses a fin?
A: Well, this can happen, after all, it is glass. I will do my best to mend any broken pieces. If the bead is fairly small, I reheat it and repair the bead int eh flame, then anneal it. I do charge a small amount for this service, usually only $10 to cover my materials and s&h. I cannot repair Food Chain bead, any hollows or large beads with dicro as these pieces are not happy about getting reheated. I do have a very expensive 2 part epoxy that I can reattach fins with....it takes about 10 days...the epoxy needs at least 7 days to cure. But if you take good care of your beads, you shouldn’t have any problems.

Q: What’s your favorite bead to make?
viola
A: I love making the critters! Anything with eyes makes me smile! But I have to say I really enjoy making the frogs. They give me a little more play and practice on fun base beads....and also coming up with new ways to “dress” the frog :)
Then again, creating some weird creature I see on a dive is quite fun too. Re-creating the underwater world in general (and in a Jujee Bead sort of way) can’t be beat! Thank you for your interest in Jujee Beads!
