Inspired by one of the best dive trips of my life, this shows what we often encountered in the beautiful Revillagigedo Islands. Mantas and Dolphins were common dive buddies and it was just magical. So many of our photos are silhouettes of these amazing animals. So I featured them on this sparkling dicroic base to simulate the sun beams glimmering through the ocean surface. The piece itself is a little dark when laid down, so it was a challenge to photograph. I held it up to the window to add a little back light.
